Documents

# Every document, filed where it belongs.

Executed agreements, capital account statements, tax documents and reports live on the investor record or across the whole investment, with the same access rules as the rest of the portal. Nothing is emailed as an attachment and then lost in a thread.

## Fund-wide, or one person's.

A document can belong to an entire investment, so every member sees it, or to a single investor, so only they do. That distinction is the difference between a quarterly letter and a capital account statement, and the portal treats them differently on purpose.

When a document is signed inside the portal, the executed copy is filed automatically for every party to it, so an investor and the fund both hold the same final version without anyone sending it on.

-

Fund-wide or per investor
Publish once to everyone on an investment, or attach a document to one person's record where only they can reach it.

-

Access by stage
Restrict a document to prospects or to accepted investors, so material is released as an investor progresses rather than all at once.

-

Watermarking
Optionally watermark documents when they are viewed, for material you want traceable if it travels.

-

Bulk upload
Upload many files at once and assign them to investors, investments or data rooms, instead of one at a time.

After the raise

## The portal does not stop at closing.

### Statements and reports

Distribute quarterly reports and capital account statements to the right investors, and see who opened them.

### A permanent record

Executed agreements and their evidence are retained for the life of the fund and can be produced on request.

### Investors self-serve

An investor who needs last year's document signs in and finds it, rather than emailing the fund to ask.

Questions

## Document questions.

### Where are documents stored?

In storage dedicated to your fund alone. Files are never pooled with another fund's, and they are only ever served through your portal after the request has been authorised.

### Can I stop a document reaching prospects?

Yes. Each document carries an audience, so you can restrict it to accepted investors and release earlier material to prospects.

### What happens to documents if something is deleted by mistake?

Deleted items go to a recycle bin and can be restored for 90 days before they are removed permanently.

## One place for the paper trail.

Documents, data rooms and signatures all use the same access model and the same audit trail.
