In-house e-signatures

# Signing that never leaves your portal.

Investors do not get bounced to a third-party signing tool with someone else's branding on it. They read the disclosure, see their signature placed on the actual document, and sign, inside the portal you gave them. Every signature is sealed with a record that stands up to scrutiny years later.

How packages work

## A record built to be questioned.

Before anyone signs, they are shown the electronic records disclosure and accept it with a deliberate act. That consent is stored with its exact wording, hashed, so you can prove later precisely what the signer agreed to.

When they sign, the signature, name and date are stamped onto the document itself at the positions you placed, a signature certificate is appended, and the whole record is sealed cryptographically. The seal covers the document before and after signing, the consent, the timestamp, the network address and the approximate location, so any later alteration is detectable.

-

Fields placed where you want them
Drag signature, name, date, title and custom fields onto the page. Each signer gets their own set, so a countersignature block lands in the right place.

-

Multiple signers, in order
Add as many parties as the document needs. Each signs the previous signer's output, so the chain of documents is ordered and provable, and each party is notified when it is their turn.

-

Certificate of completion
The executed PDF carries a certificate page listing every signer, the consent they gave, when they signed and from where. An evidence bundle can be exported as a PDF or a ZIP on demand.

-

Verification at read time
An administrator can re-verify any signature. The seal is recomputed and the stored document re-hashed, so the answer reflects the record as it stands today, not a status flag written once.

Why in-house matters

## One less vendor in the chain.

### Your brand on the ceremony

The signing experience carries your fund's name and design, because it is a page in your portal rather than a redirect to someone else.

### No per-envelope pricing

Signing is part of the portal. There is no separate signature vendor metering your raise by the envelope.

### Evidence you hold

The executed document and its forensic record live in your fund's own storage, not in a third party's account you would have to export from.

Questions

## Signature questions.

### Are these signatures legally binding?

They are designed to meet the ESIGN and UETA requirements for electronic signatures: the signer is shown an electronic records disclosure and accepts it by a clear affirmative act, the signature is attributable to an authenticated person, and the record is retained and reproducible.

### What exactly is captured for each signature?

Who signed and the email address they were authenticated as, the exact consent wording and when it was accepted, the time of signing, the network address, the approximate location, the device user agent, the authentication method, and cryptographic hashes of the document before and after signing.

### Can a document be signed by more than one party?

Yes. You define an ordered roster of signers. Each party signs the document as it stood after the previous signer, so the sequence is provable, and the fund's countersignature is just another party in that order.

### What if a document needs to be re-signed?

You can supersede a ceremony and start a fresh one. The earlier signatures are kept as an immutable historical generation rather than deleted, because a completed signature is a legal record.
