Identity verification is a step in the subscription package rather than a separate errand. The investor is taken through a document and liveness check, the result comes back to their profile, and sanctions screening runs against the name you are about to accept. Get started Subscription packages ## Checks that sit inside the flow. Add an identity step to a package and the investor completes it in sequence with everything else. They capture their document and a selfie on their own device, and return to the portal with the step marked complete. The result comes back as extracted identity details rather than a bare pass or fail, and the images collected are served only through your portal for administrator review, so they are never fetched from anywhere else by the browser. - Document and liveness Government ID capture with liveness and face matching, so the person subscribing is the person on the document. - Sanctions screening Names are screened against the consolidated US government sanctions and watchlist data, including the OFAC lists, with every run recorded against the investor. - Evidence on the record The captured document images and the verification outcome are attached to the investor profile for administrators with permission to see them. - Re-verification when you need it Identity can be reused across investments, or required again per investment when your policy calls for a fresh check. Diligence ## Answers you can show someone. ### One place to look Identity outcome, screening result and signed documents sit on the same investor record, so answering a question means opening one profile. ### Access is gated Identity images and the full investor dossier require a specific permission. An administrator who only manages data rooms cannot open them. ### Nothing proxied to the browser Verification images are streamed through your portal, so the investor's documents are never fetched directly from a vendor by the client. Questions ## Identity questions. ### Does the investor leave the portal to verify? Document and selfie capture opens a dedicated capture step, because it needs camera access on their device, and they return to the portal automatically with the step marked complete. Everything before and after it happens in your portal. ### Do investors have to verify again for each investment? That is your choice per portal. By default a completed verification is reused across investments; you can require a fresh verification per investment instead. ### Who can see a passport or licence image? Only administrators holding the permission that gates the investor dossier. The images are streamed through the portal and access is recorded in the audit trail. ### Is accreditation the same as identity? No. Identity verification confirms who someone is. Accreditation is a separate question answered in the subscription questionnaire and, where you require it, by a document the investor uploads or a letter you collect. ### Does screening decide anything automatically? No, and deliberately so. Screening surfaces possible matches with a score, the list they came from and the programs involved. Clearing or acting on a hit is always a human decision, and every run is kept as an audit record. ### Does it check proof of address? Not automatically.
