# Privacy Policy.

This policy explains what information LP Port collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it plain, because the data your fund entrusts to us deserves a clear explanation.

Last updated: 5 August 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how LP Port ("LP Port," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares personal information in connection with the LP Port investor-portal platform and this website (together, the "Service"). It applies to visitors to our site, to the fund managers who subscribe to the Service ("Customers"), and to the investors who use a Customer's portal.

## 1. Our role

For personal information that a fund manager loads into their portal, or that an investor submits while using it, the fund manager is the controller of that information and LP Port acts as its processor: we handle that information on the Customer's behalf and under their instructions, as set out in our agreement with them. For information we collect directly through our website and for our own business operations, LP Port is the controller. If you are an investor with a question about how a particular fund uses your data, please contact that fund.

## 2. Information we collect

### Information you provide

We collect information you give us directly, such as your name, organization, and message when you use the contact form on this site or register for the Service. Within a Customer's portal, investors may provide account details, subscription information, identity documents, accreditation information, and the contents of documents they sign or upload.

### Information collected automatically

When you use the Service, we automatically collect technical information such as device and browser details, IP address, pages viewed, and timestamps. We use strictly necessary and functional storage to keep you signed in and to operate the Service. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

### Information from third parties

To deliver certain features, we receive information from providers we integrate, such as the results of an identity check or a sanctions screening. This information is returned to the relevant Customer's portal as part of the compliance record for that investor.

## 3. How we use information

We use personal information to:

- provide, operate, secure, and improve the Service;

- authenticate users and protect against fraud and unauthorized access;

- process subscriptions, signatures, identity verification, and funding on a Customer's behalf;

- respond to enquiries submitted through our site;

- send service-related communications, such as notices about changes or security;

- maintain records and audit trails needed for the integrity of executed agreements; and

- comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

## 4. Legal bases

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on: performance of a contract, to provide the Service; our legitimate interests, to secure and improve the Service and to communicate with prospective customers; consent, where we ask for it; and compliance with legal obligations. Where LP Port acts as a processor, the Customer is responsible for the legal basis of its processing.

## 5. How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We share it only as needed to run the Service:

- With the relevant Customer. Information an investor submits in a portal is shared with the fund that operates it.

- With service providers. We use vetted providers for hosting, identity verification, screening, payment, email delivery, and similar functions, bound by contract to protect the information and use it only to provide their service to us.

- For legal reasons. We may disclose information where required by law, to respond to lawful requests, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of LP Port, our customers, and others.

- In a business transfer. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.

## 6. Data security

We protect personal information with technical and organizational measures appropriate to its sensitivity. Sensitive stored data is encrypted at rest, traffic is encrypted in transit, access is scoped to least privilege, and access events are logged. No system is perfectly secure, but security is a first-class part of how the Service is built. You can read more on our Security page.

## 7. Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Service and for legitimate business or legal purposes. Where LP Port acts as a processor, retention follows the Customer's instructions and our agreement with them. Records that must be preserved to maintain the integrity of executed agreements, such as signature evidence, may be retained for the life of the relevant fund and for a period afterward as required by law.

## 8. International transfers

We may process and store information in countries other than the one in which it was collected. Where we transfer personal information across borders, we use appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, where required by applicable law.

## 9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. Because much of the information in a portal is controlled by the fund that operates it, we will often direct investor requests to that fund and support the fund in responding. To exercise a right regarding information for which LP Port is the controller, use the Get started form on this site and we will route your request appropriately.

## 10. Children's privacy

The Service is intended for use by businesses and their investors and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

## 11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make a material change, we will revise the effective date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after an update takes effect indicates your acceptance of the revised policy.

## 12. Contact

If you have questions about this policy or how we handle personal information, reach us through the Get started form on this site, and we will route your message to the right team.
