The subscription, as a sequence.
A subscription is rarely one document. It is a questionnaire, a memorandum to read, an agreement to sign, an identity check, and a wire. LP Port lets you assemble that exact sequence per investment, then gives each investor a single guided flow that shows what is done, what is outstanding, and what is waiting on you.
Built per investment, not per investor.
Each investment defines its own package. You add the steps it needs and set which are required, and every investor on that investment gets the same sequence, in the same order, without anyone assembling a bundle by hand.
When one investor needs something different, a side letter, an extra document, a form only they must complete, you customise their package without disturbing anyone else. Their copy forks from the template and diverges only where you changed it.
-
Six kinds of stepA form to complete, a document to read and attest to, a document to sign electronically, a document to download, sign and return, a file to upload, and an identity verification. Combine them in any order.
-
Custom formsBuild your own questionnaires with your own fields, or use the built-in investor and accreditation form. Responses are stored against the investor and encrypted at rest.
-
Per-investor documentsProvide a different document to each person for the same step, so an agreement pre-filled with one investor's name and commitment reaches only them.
-
Review and revisionA submitted package waits for your review. Approve it, or send it back with a note explaining exactly what needs to change, and the investor picks up where they left off.
One flow, no guesswork.
Always one next step
The investor sees the step they are on, what is already complete, and what remains. Nothing is hidden behind an email thread.
Progress that persists
They can stop halfway and return later on another device. Completed steps stay completed.
Waiting states are explicit
When a step is waiting on a counter-signature or on the fund, it says so, instead of looking broken.
Subscription questions.
Can different investments have different packages?
Yes. Every investment defines its own package independently. A fund and an SPV in the same portal can require completely different steps, documents and forms.
Can I change one investor's requirements?
Yes. Customising an investor's package creates their own copy of it, so you can add, remove or replace steps for that person without affecting anyone else on the investment.
What happens when an investor submits?
The package is locked for review and appears in your queue. You either approve it, which counter-signs and accepts them, or return it for revision with a note describing what to fix.
Are form responses encrypted?
Yes. Subscription form responses, which can include tax identifiers, are encrypted at rest and only decrypted for administrators with permission to view them.

Subscriptions sit on the same foundation as signing, identity and wire instructions.
